Neo Revelation has 132 cards with prices tracked hourly, released in September 2001. A complete raw set is worth about $22,210 and the most valuable card is Lugia #20 at $50.05.

Neo Revelation, released in 2001, is the third expansion of the Neo era and continues the focus on Johto species and legendary Pokémon. Its defining addition is the debut of Shining cards, with Shining Gyarados and Shining Magikarp numbered beyond the standard checklist. Their unusual foil treatment and limited two-card lineup make them the central chase. The holographic roster is also unusually strong, led by Houndoom, Ho-oh, Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, giving collectors several desirable targets below the Shining tier.

Checking a binder page from this set is quicker with a Pokémon card scanner that reads the card number for you.

First Edition and unlimited printings create two clear collecting levels, with stamped holos and Shining cards carrying the strongest premiums. A master run covering both printings is much harder than a basic numbered set. Holographic surfaces are prone to scratching, print lines, and edge silvering, while dark card backs readily reveal whitening and handling marks.

First Edition copies carry a small edition stamp beneath the left side of the illustration box. Unlimited copies lack that stamp. Both printings use the same basic artwork and numbering, but condition, stamp clarity, and holographic surface quality can produce substantial differences in collector demand.

Does Neo Revelation include all three legendary beasts as holographic cards?

Yes. Entei #6, Raikou #13, and Suicune #14 are all holographic rares in Neo Revelation. Ho-oh #7 is another major holo, giving the release a concentrated group of Johto legendary cards alongside Houndoom and the two Shining cards.
