Shanks #OP09-004 Manga Rare: rarity, grading and trend

Shanks #OP09-004 Manga Rare is a Manga Rare card from Emperors in the New World, a 2024 release. It ranks as number 4 by price out of 161 cards in the set, so it is one of the cards collectors chase when opening packs. Its price has held almost flat over the last 30 days ($1,534 to $1,534).

Is it worth grading? Given the very high raw band, encapsulation is reasonable for protection and authentication, yet a top-grade premium cannot be assumed because no multiple was supplied. Manga Rare surfaces should be inspected carefully for fine scratches, print lines and edge nicks before paying grading fees.
