Why Elekid #23 is priced where it is

Elekid #23 is a Rare Pokémon card from EX Unseen Forces, the EX era (2005). It ranks as number 61 by price out of 145 cards in the set. Its price has held almost flat over the last 30 days ($68.74 to $68.74). The illustration is by Yuka Morii.

Is it worth grading? Professional grading remains a selective choice without a dependable gem-mint comparison, despite the notable raw value. Clean blue back edges are the key hurdle for this EX-era issue, with surface scuffs, small dents, and corner wear also important on the non-holographic front.
