Black & White has 115 cards with prices tracked hourly, released in April 2011. A complete raw set is worth about $486.70 and the most valuable card is Zekrom #114 at $106.21.

Black & White opened the English Black & White expansion era in April 2011, shifting the game to Unova Pokémon and the new Ability terminology. The 115 tracked cards include regular rares, holographic rares, two ultra rare full-art cards and one secret rare. Reshiram and Zekrom headline the full-art tier, with both also represented elsewhere in the checklist. Pikachu #115 sits beyond the standard numbering as the lone secret rare and is the clearest set-specific chase. The combination of first-set status, flagship Legendary Pokémon and an early secret Pikachu gives the release a distinct identity among early 2010s expansions.

Black & White chase cards

Checking a binder page from this set is quicker with a Pokémon card scanner that reads the card number for you.

Singles are the practical route for Black & White set building, since the secret Pikachu and two full-art ultra rares drive much of the premium. Sealed product carries early-era appeal but offers no efficient path to specific chases. A master set becomes substantially harder once reverse holos are included. Full-art surfaces, card backs and foil areas should be checked for scratches, whitening and print lines.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most valuable card in Black & White?

Zekrom #114 leads the set at about $106.21 raw, followed by Pikachu #115 at $148.41.

How many cards are in Black & White?

Black & White has 115 cards in our price guide, released in April 2011. The most common rarity is Common (44 cards).

How much is a complete Black & White set worth?

Adding up the lowest near mint Cardmarket price of every card gives about $486.70 for a raw set. Buying singles one by one usually costs more once shipping is added.

How many Black & White cards are worth more than $10?

3 of the 115 cards are currently worth $10 or more raw. Most of the rest are commons and uncommons that sell in bulk.

How do I find the card number on a Black & White card?

The number is printed in the bottom corner next to the set symbol and the set code BLW. Match it to the list above, or scan the card with a phone app to read it for you.

What makes Pikachu #115 a secret rare in Black & White?

Pikachu carries number 115, placing it beyond the expansion's standard numbered sequence, and the rarity mix identifies it as the single Rare Secret. Its distinctive status, popular subject and one-per-set rarity slot separate it from the regular rare and holographic portions of Black & White.

How are the Reshiram and Zekrom full arts identified in Black & White?

Look for Reshiram #113 and Zekrom #114, both listed as Rare Ultra in the supplied checklist. They use full-card artwork and sit near the end of the numbered run. Do not confuse them with the regular holographic versions elsewhere in Black & White, which have different numbers and layouts.

Which Black & White reverse holos are needed for a master set?

A finish-complete build normally adds every reverse-holo parallel issued for eligible cards, not merely one example of the treatment. Exact eligibility should be checked card by card, since standard holographic and special rarity entries may not follow the same parallel rules. Number-only completeness is a narrower goal.
