Diamond & Pearl has 130 cards with prices tracked hourly, released in May 2007. A complete raw set is worth about $1,061 and the most valuable card is Infernape LV.X #121 at $143.58.

Launching the Diamond & Pearl series in May 2007, Diamond & Pearl introduced the era's base design and made LV.X the headline mechanic. Infernape LV.X, Torterra LV.X, and Empoleon LV.X extend the three Sinnoh partner evolutions, giving the set a clear thematic center. The chase is less top-heavy than later releases: Gengar #27 can compete with or surpass the special-rarity cards, while Bonsly and Haunter add demand lower in the rarity ladder. That spread makes character appeal and condition nearly as important as the printed rarity symbol.

Buyers split their attention between the three LV.X cards, clean character favorites such as Gengar, and reverse-holo variants needed for broader completion goals. Singles are usually the practical route because a master build spans several rarity tiers and parallel foils. LV.X fronts can show scratches and print lines, while ordinary cards still need checks for whitening, corner wear, and off-center cuts.

Does Gengar #27 really lead demand in Diamond & Pearl?

Tracked demand places Gengar at the front of the set, showing that a regular rare can outperform special-rarity cards. Its familiar evolution line helps, and truly clean copies of mid-era nonholo cards can be less routine than the rarity symbol suggests.

When did LV.X first appear in the Diamond & Pearl set?

Where are the three starter LV.X cards numbered in Diamond & Pearl?

Empoleon LV.X is #120, Infernape LV.X is #121, and Torterra LV.X is #122. They close the regular checklist and form a tidy three-card goal for anyone pursuing the headline mechanic without collecting every parallel.
