EX Dragon Frontiers has 101 cards with prices tracked hourly, released in November 2006. A complete raw set is worth about $42,523 and the most valuable card is Charizard ★ δ #100 at $811.97.

Released in November 2006, EX Dragon Frontiers belongs to the late EX era and centers on Delta Species Pokémon, whose card types can differ from their usual identities. The set's top-end chase is concentrated in two Gold Star cards, Mew ★ δ and Charizard ★ δ. A deep Rare Holo EX group includes Salamence ex δ, Rayquaza ex δ, and Latios ex δ, while Snorlax δ is a standout regular holo. Stamped reverse holos add another collecting layer and make comprehensive set building much tougher than the numbered checklist alone suggests.

EX Dragon Frontiers chase cards

Checking a binder page from this set is quicker with a Pokémon card scanner that reads the card number for you.

Older sealed product is scarce enough that most set builders favor singles, especially for the Gold Stars and ex cards. Mew ★ δ and Charizard ★ δ dominate the premium tier, but clean ex holos and stamped reverses can also be difficult. Foil scratching, edge chipping, silvering, and worn corners are common condition obstacles. A master-style run becomes demanding once reverse-holo variants are included.

What makes EX Dragon Frontiers different from other late EX era sets?

Delta Species is the defining feature, giving familiar Pokémon unusual card types and a distinctive identity across much of the checklist. The expansion also has an especially concentrated Gold Star finish, with Mew ★ δ and Charizard ★ δ, plus a strong group of delta-marked Pokémon ex cards.

Why are Mew ★ δ and Charizard ★ δ the central EX Dragon Frontiers chases?

They are the expansion's only Rare Holo Star cards, a rarity with strong demand throughout the EX era. Both also combine popular characters with Delta Species styling. Their placement at the end of the checklist separates them from the larger Rare Holo EX group.

Should buyers prioritize EX Dragon Frontiers Gold Stars or Pokémon ex cards first?

Priority depends on the goal. Gold Stars are the hardest centerpiece cards to replace, while the ten Rare Holo EX cards create a broader completion challenge. For condition-focused collections, secure clean examples when available, since foil wear and edge damage can narrow the supply of appealing copies.
